A trek through the desert at the age of twenty — sleeping under the starry sky — for ever shaped my love for light, space, and silence.

As an artist, I observe. I search for essence: purity, logic, and emotion. My work is abstract and minimalist, yet never distant. The sensory experience is central—I want to create space for emotion and draw the viewer into an experience that moves with the light, the moment, and the surroundings.

I feel kinship with the sensitivity of Mono-ha and the luminous worlds of James Turrell and Olafur Eliasson. Their work inspires me not only to look, but to truly experience.

Light plays a vital role in my practice—not only as a visual element, but as something to be felt.

I am too curious to confine myself to a single form or medium. My work continues to evolve, to shift, to explore new directions. Materiality is never accidental: every choice arises from the moment, from intention and energy. Edges, details, and proportions are essential—they connect work and space, idea and experience.

Rhythm and balance guide my process. Layer by layer, I refine, question, and redefine—creating uncompromising beauty that adheres to my personal standard: raw, clear, and carefully constructed.

Materialiteit is nooit toevallig: elke keuze ontstaat uit het moment, uit intentie en energie. Randen, details en verhoudingen zijn essentieel—ze verbinden werk en ruimte, idee en ervaring.

Ritme en balans sturen mijn proces. Laag voor laag verfijn ik, stel ik vragen en herdefinieer ik—om een compromisloze schoonheid te scheppen die voldoet aan mijn persoonlijke maatstaf: rauw, helder en zorgvuldig geconstrueerd.
